We are looking for a Fermentation Scientist (M/F) to join our team and to harness the power of fermentation technology to create alternative milk proteins.This person will be responsible to manage fermentation research and testing to fully characterize fermentation kinetics.This position is based in Lyon.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage fermentation trials in a project mode.
- Optimize fermentation performance in coordination with the Director of Bioprocess.
- Draft and share the results with the team.
- Analyze the results and statistical analysis).
- Support quality system documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and safety rules.
- You are passionate about Bon Vivant’s mission.
- Master or PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biotechnology or related disciplines
- Previous industrial experience within biotechnology focused on research and development
- Skilled and experienced in open innovation set-ups
- Strong scientific background in microorganism development / use and biotechnology processes
- Capable of managing complex tasks under time pressure
- Collaborative and open-minded
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skill
- Passion for sustainability, curiosity, interest in developing an holistic view of the topics investigated
