We are looking for a Fermentation Technician to join our team in Lyon.This person will be responsible to carry our R&D fermentation experiments on the various projects in close collaboration with the USP Engineer.
What You Will Be Doing
- Set up and prepare culture trials in fermenters ( from 2L to 40 L).
- Daily management of fermentation in progress both in the laboratory and on the pilot.
- Monitore culture parameters and samples.
- Report activities in the laboratory notebook.
- Participate in the management of the laboratory ( monitoring and maintenance of equipment, listing orders etc) .
- Respect the application and monitoring of procedures.
- You are passionate about Bon Vivant’s mission.
- You have a Bac+2 in biotechnology or biochemistry.
- You have +2 years of experience in a similar position in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
- You have great knowledge of fermentation and microbiology.
- You have experience on use of fermenters (2 to 40 L).
- You have experience on biological analyses: OD, pH, sugar analysis, etc.
- You are curious , rigorous and like to work with people.
- Technical english both written and spoken.
