Our mission is to spread data streaming via Kafka in any organization by building exceptional tooling compatible with all the Kafka ecosystem out there. We help thousands of developers and organizations organize and secure their Kafka data and accelerate project delivery.
We work in London (HQ), New York, and France.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Director of Software Engineering to help us improve our engineering culture, maximize our efficiency, and making sure we are executing on strategic technology goals. You will work from London HQ, in the office, with the other leaders in the organization and the CTO.
What will you be doing?
- Animate our engineering teams and foster an innovative environment where technical excellence thrives

- Keep things simple and boring. We are not here to celebrate beautiful complexity.
- Optimize our software development lifecycle for speed and reliability
- Clarify, plan, and orchestrate technical projects; help engineers deliver them smoothly and tackle challenges ahead
- Make sure our infrastructure is properly managed, secured (SOC2), and under cost control
- Work closely with our product team and leadership to have a fully aligned organization
- Manage engineers and help them grow in their role
- Tech: Kafka, Scala, Java, TypeScript, React, GraphQL
